Fastening the ceramic wear layer often poses a challenge. At ABRATEK, we’ve solved this by using vacuum bonding. It’s a process where the ceramic is first mounted on a backing material and then heated in a vacuum. This method gives a powerful bond that reduces the risk of damage due to stress and impacts and increases the lifespan of the wear-resistant layer.
